Just a show with Louie CK about his life as a single dad and comedian in NYC. Seinfeld but he had two kids and the comedy was different but I really liked it. It came on cable tv early 2010s. I watched all 5 seasons on Netflix ten years ago, in 2016. It is a great show and I’d like to watch it again. Of course it’s not streaming since he was cancelled a few years ago.

I’m asking for help with technology. I see that you can purchase all 5 seasons of the show on his website for $30. To me that is a bargain and no brainer.

I don’t like watching tv on my iPhone or iPad. So my question is, if I pay the $30 to get the show off his website, how can I watch it on my big screen smart tv? Sorry if this is an old man question. Thank you.

Cast from your phone to your smart TV? Or I'm sure if you ask nicely, beauchristopher would download it and give you an invite to his Plex server

Ask a yute to show you how to link your iPad to your smart TV and cast video to it. It’s usually pretty simple, but it’s hard to explain without being there. Not all video programs allow casting, but I’d think Louie would to make the product more desirable for folks his age who don’t want to watch on mobile,

Maybe there is a YouTube video by a 14 year old Pakistani kid who shows how to do it. I learn a lot of tech stuff from them.

download the chrome browser and login to his website through that. should be able to cast to your tv pretty easily. look for a button in the top right corner of the browser

also, not trying to be snarky but grok/chatgpt is great for this stuff if you run into any issues

I can add you to my Plex, so you can watch for free if you like.

Watch it once on your iPad, but hook up a VCR and tape it

Then hook up the VCR to your TV, and watch the tape you just made

The episodes with Dane Cook were great. That actually felt real when he was on it.

Parker Posey threatening suicide in the one where they were on the roof of the building was pretty good to.

Louie was far more artistic than Seinfeld, though Seinfeld far funnier
