cultivating the plants you want or fighting to remove/control the plants you don’t want?

If we extend “unwanted” to tree fall I’m about 5:1 in favor of removal. And invasives are a constant fight

no such thing as "invasives" on stolen land.

I have nothing but raised beds and/or pots. I get so few unwanted plants.

If a bunch of you guys were to come over and help me pick up limbs, pull out dewberry and privet and pull weeds we could have it done in no time

Probably cultivating. I'm pulling weeds pretty regularly but it never seems like huge chore. I lay down tons of pine straw mulch so the weeds are usually minimal.

Yeah I'm at about the same ratio because of a big live oak cracking in half. I'm a cheap bastard so I removed it from the house myself and pocketed the removal money from the insurance. I then spent a weekend cutting it up and slowly moved it to the road with a wheelbarrow after work for about 6 weeks.

my garden is surrounded by native pasture. I am constantly weeding. I have debated ordering a pallet of cinder blocks to at least slow down the wind blown seeds into the garden.

I guess mine being surrounded by a privacy fence helps with some of that.

Here , shite grows in a afternoon. I can pull the weeds, clean everything up and in 10 hours, new shite is growing.
