That country the UK wanted to hand over our base to. They openly are backing Iran.

More so had the base been handed over, the UK would have informed this pro Iran proxy of China that we were going to strike.
And the UK would have paid them billions to take the base by "leasing it back".
And the kicker is that the international court that told the UK to hand a island that was uninhabited until settled by Europeans to a Muslim nation that had no claim... was a CCP judge...

The country that currently holds control over it doesn’t want the action taken in Iran. A very big part of America is openly against it. These people want something that’s not orange

So you think the Commander in chief should listen to public opinion before going to war when he thinks there is a grave threat to America?

CIC shouldn’t listen to the legislative branch over Executive decisions. Trump has handled this situation like a boss should. While public opinion has merits the immediate welfare & attention is not something a public has access to so Presidents would be ill informed to be swayed by that view of public. In this particular case the past , present and future comes into play because of Iran’s tendencies to use violence through other bad actors and their long history of supporting end of great Satan as well as little Satan.

Want to bet? I say that in one year Iran will no longer be funding the three terror groups, will have publicly disavowed nukes, and will have canceled the $400 billion China deal.
