Do any of you in Louisiana get Astros games on DirecTV?

I’m in Texas, so I get the games, but I have a relative who recently got DirecTV Stream which includes Space City Sports Network, but said the spring training games haven’t been on while I’ve been able to watch them here in Texas.

It’s hard to find if they’re blacked out or not. Louisiana is supposed to be in-market, and he has SCSN and still hasn’t been able to watch. What gives?

Only 1 or 2 spring games have been televised. It makes no sense they’d be blacked out for someone in Louisiana but not Texas

Yeah, I've only seen one televised. It was their first one. Not sure if there's been another

I have DirecTV

Maybe he just tried to watch a game that wasn’t televised? I’m not sure. I checked the guide here a couple weeks ago and told him when the game would be on and he said he tried to watch but it was some other show that was on.

I’ll check in with him again at some point because I thought for sure he’d be able to watch them with DirecTV.

And I haven’t actually watched any spring training games this year. I just know I have in the past so I assumed they’ve been on.

The MLB tv rules are insane, so who knows. It does seem like there is less televised than in the past this year for some reason but I’m not sure. Here is the schedule

My father in law lives near Tyler, he is a diehard Astro fan and hasn't been able to buy the Astros package on MLB due to blackout restrictions, they make them watch the Rangers, even though he is some 3 hrs away from both.

Get a fire stick and search online for the sports streams. I get any game I want. Use a VPN also

Astros now offer a direct streaming option for space city sports. Its a subscription app.

Has he subscribed to the scsn+ app and still can’t get the games?

I was planning on trying that out myself. So I won’t have to subscribe to fubotv

I’m pretty sure there’s a Space City app/streaming network now. You pay and can watch all Astros/Rockets games.
