Hezbollah entering the war?

British news is reporting that dozens of missiles and drones from Lebanon have been fired into Israel.
Now it seems clear why the reports Israel was marshaling 100,000 reservists near its northern border

Ok. Let’s take out Hezbollah.

Parts of Lebanon will look like Gaza soon, congrats Hezbollah?

You’d have thought they’d have learned a lesson or two after that James Bond pager attack

Hezbollah, like Hamas, like the Hutis, like about a dozen other terrorist organizations operating across the Middle East are organized and funded by the Iranian regime. They’re all quite literally Iran’s puppets.

Indeed.
It just seems like an odd time for them to jump into the fray, especially when they opted not to after we bombed Fordow.
Oh well. If they wish to be dispatched to the void, I’m sure we can oblige them.

Israel has already warned the Lebanese Government that if they allow attacks to come from Hezbollah in Lebanon that they will retaliate harshly. They have threatened to destroy the airport in Beirut along with bridges, power companies, etc.
They have a list of targets already prepared.

Leftists and the posters here cosplaying at leftists will cry about Israel bombing the shite out of them but will conveniently once again ignore the fact that they started it

How long before Hezbollah flags start going up into BlueSky bios?

It was always clear.
You really should take a seat and observe. That's all you are, an observer. Your constant regurgitation of open source material as if you're dialed in is unnecessary.

How about you go frick yourself? Or don’t post on a board about the topic if you aren’t interested in reading it? Either one works for me

Fordow was different. It was about dismantling Iran’s ability to produce a nuclear bomb. What’s happening now is about dismantling the Iranian regime itself. Without the Iranian regime, organizations like Hezbollah will loose the lifeblood that keeps them going.

And none of their checks are clearing.
Lebanon’s new president is the former chief of the Lebanese army, he specifically warned Hezbollah not to pull this exact shite last week. Squeeze them.
quote:
The election of former army chief Joseph Aoun on January 9, 2025, was viewed as a sign of weakening Iranian influence in Lebanon.
Aoun has stated that no group, specifically referencing Hezbollah, is permitted to bear arms outside of the Lebanese military.
The Lebanese government, under this new leadership, has set a goal to bring all weapons under state control.
While accepting Aoun's election, Hezbollah has vowed to resist disarmament efforts

Time to turn Lebanon back into a Christian nation.

They probably (and I’d say accurately) concluded that without an “Islamic Republic of Iran” funding them, their own continued existence will be hanging by a thread, if even that.
It’s joining a fight in hopes of preserving themselves. They will not succeed.

Yup you’re likely dead on the money.
It makes total sense. If your backers and people you ultimately depend upon to not be totally dismantled as an organization are on the verge of being wiped out. You really only have one option if you’re not prepared to give up the cause and that’s go all in.

This is what many don’t understand. If the Iranian regime falls, the dynamics of the entire Middle East will be fundamentally transformed. All of these terrorist groups in places like Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, Yemen, Iraq, etc. will suddenly find their supply of both money and arms gone. They won’t disappear overnight, but their days will be numbered.
It’s possible we could be on the cusp of seeing a level of stability in the Middle East not known since the fall of the Ottoman Empire over a century ago.
