Whoever created the Ole Miss thread, said that was the last best chance to win. And he was right. I can't wait for this season to be over. And please no NIT or any of that shite

Makes you wonder how bad a team Ole Miss is.

I knew LSU had no chance of beating Oklahoma. They're strong, physical and fast and they shot lights out in the second half. They're a team on a mission-- they've won four Quad 1 games out of their last 6 outings and are now "under consideration" by Joe Lunardi. Whoever tabbed LSU as a favorite in tonight's game needs a head transplant.

I don't mind being invited to and playing in an NIT, but that's not happening with this team. One wonders what the season would be like today if Dedan and Jalen had been in good shape for SEC action. Member we all thought LSU was a tournament team before SEC play began.

My feelings exactly.

Yeah, I do wonder. It certainly changes a few games, I am sure. Maybe several. But what-ifs don't get you invited to the dance.

I certainly thought this was his best shot. I was cautiously optimistic. Even without Reed, I thought maybe.

Tarzan that's laughable maybe 10 people in the entire world thought LSU was going to NCAA tournament this year and Mcloser wasn't one of them!

Go back and read posts in December. I would say a majority on this board thought LSU was a better-than-average SEC team and would win at least 8 games in the conf. It was only when SEC play began and the Tigers started getting blown out at home to SC, Miss State and other bad teams that we knew this season was special-- specially bad.

Enough with injuries, you can’t miss what you never had- every team has adversity. It happens to every team but McCantWin ends up on the bottom.

Please Verge cut the chord , rip off the band aid, and fire him. It’s so obvious he’s not the guy.
But I KNOW A GUY?!?!

If majority means you, Mcpuffs Tiger, JimsTiger72 and Tigersbb then ok. I remember tons of 14-40s being posted.

After last night's fiasco, I've officially abandoned all McHope for LSU basketball as it's currently configured

The majority of people said LSU NEEDS TO win 8 or more conference games this year, or this awful 4 year experiment of hiring the “clean, nice guy on paper” will be over.

I am so tired of going to games/turning on the TV and seeing 10,000 empty seats. What a pathetic situation this has turned into.

And Ole Miss just went on the road and beat Auburn. Shows you how much coaching matters. You think those Auburn players respect Daddy's boy at Auburn, forced on them by the timing and terms of Bruce's retirement.

Enough with injuries

Texas Tech recently lost their best player, who was an All American caliber player. All they’ve done since is go 3-0, including beating the no.4 team in the country on the road yesterday. That team’s only loss at home this year.
LSU loses a role player coming off a significant injury and a decent PG and they, again, can’t even compete.

For reasons I will never understand McMahon has gotten the benefit of every possible excuse known to man. Yet, he still has never won. Perhaps, the excuse makers should just accept reality. He sucks as a head coach.
