Anybody try these newfangled mushroom coffees? Ryze seems to have the biggest marketing. Promises all kind of health benefits but the research seems to be lacking.

Any firstshand experience, pros and cons?

I consume a lot of mushrooms, both leaded and unleaded. But my coffee needs to be coffee

I drink Ryze occasionally. I used to mix it in my protein shakes, and I prefer it that way. Even when I had 1 serving every day, I can't say I noticed any health benefits. It is instant coffee with mushroom powder added. It's a little hard to mix and has a strong earthy flavor that takes getting used to.

i've tried the "ten mushroom" brand because i'm not paying $45 for 30 servings of the ryze brand...they both contain instant coffee and mushroom powder...you get twice as many servings for less than half the price, and it has a pleasant flavor...almost chocolatey...i make a 6 oz serving, then add milk or almond milk and microwave it to reheat...the powder is much easier to mix in after it's reheated...

Same with me. I got it for basically free and added it to protein drinks for about 2 or 3 months and noticed nothing different. Wasn't worth spending my own money on.
