Can anyone make heads or tails of this?

Some of the presales start tomorrow, but I can't tell how it's organized. Some stuff is Vibee and some stuff is Ticketmaster.

Re the "Travel Packages" on vibee, I don't really want an all-inclusive thing...but they go on sale tomorrow (Friday, Feb 27), while the other stuff doesn't go on until Monday. My question for that is: is it worth just trying to get some travel package tickets since, by definition, they are tickets that are going to be taken off the market?

Then there's Superfan? stuff? That includes so-called "Full House" tickets - which get you entry to every single appearance at The Sphere.

The presale pecking order for the fan club is Legacy and then Fifth Member.

I am not doing any type of travel package because I don't know who all will be going yet for sure if I am able to get tickets or if my other friends are able to get tickets in later pre-sales. I am Legacy & my pre-sale time is 9am Monday. It is going to be interesting to see how high the prices are & what is available.

What about my theory that it's worth it simply to have a crack at tix 72 hours before even Legacy on Monday?

The prices are all listed. Which packages are you interested in?

The prices for the travel package are listed but single shows tickets aren't listed yet & won't be until they go on sale. My issue is I only want to go to one show. I don't want to stay 4 days in Vegas for 2 shows.

Single show packages are listed here: superfan

I assume you mean just straight up tickets, though?

Don't see any pricing for a single ticket... I'd assume its going to be 4-500 retail and after the scalpers get them, 800-1k for the cheapest.

They only have single ticket enhanced so far - and the cheapest is like $650.

God I don’t want to have to jump through all these hoops for this

Probably going to price out all my friends to go if I can even grab tickets

I couldn't help myself from getting some Travel Packages for the first weekend.

It was CHAOTIC! It's 4 different weekends, each comprising 2 nights, each offering like 9 options between snake pit, diamond and regular.

What was crazy was things would show as "sold out" and then the next time you clicked, they wouldn't be.

My guess is:

--some people end up not consummating their purchases, so the tix get released back into the pool

--tickets are not released all at once at the top of the hour; instead, they are bleeding them out slowly over the pre-sale window

Once I figured that out, I slowed down. Tickets that were shown as sold out to me at 2 past the hour became available at 17 past the hour.

Also, the advertised prices were for the lowest possible in that package. In reality, pricing seems to be logically based on quality of actual seat selection. I ended up with something in the middle in the 200 level. Those were way more expensive than 300s on the side.

Now, on to Monday's pre-sale. The pre-sale code is still good for those. Might get some other dates and/or some "enhanced" experiences.

Good luck!

For Phish upcoming 9 night run the travel package was a way to guarantee getting a very tough ticket- I don’t know if the Metallica demand is there with how many shows they are doing. The hotel was the Venetian and it wasn’t much more than what they charge on the website and you get guaranteed tix at a decent price and not these ridiculous aftermarket prices.

Also be aware of overhang- if you are under it might as well not go!

This was 100% my logic for pulling the trigger today. Even if the "Legacy" people will be first in line on Monday AM, that doesn't change the fact that the tickets I got today have already been sold and taken out of the pool.

It's good to know the upcharge on the hotel isn't that much.

I didn't realize they even had this!

100 level row 20-21- do not buy anything in rows above 21 in the 100 level- the view of the screen gets obstructed and the sound becomes increasingly muffled as you move toward the back

You made a wise decision in my opinion.

staying at the Venetian is worth the package cost. They give you a very (very) nice room and you can walk thru the resort to the show

I even upped to Palazzo for a very small premium.
