No one in DC is serious about cutting fraud.

While I agree, I feel now that JD and Bessent are spearheading this thing, we might get some movement. Elon said it best, they don’t want to stop it cause they all profit from it.

Of course not, they're making too much money.

99% of the time people say they put in a slam dunk amendment that everyone should agree on, there is something in that amendment that has nothing to do with what everyone should agree on.

They are all in on it.

How else does every politician all of a sudden become rich on 174K a year.

Giving that to Vance is better than handing it off to a committee or some one in Congress that's got a lobbyist up his/her arse 24/7. Don't know if anything gets done, but it's still better.

Of course, when I posted on here earlier the other day about JD Vance and this fraud stuff and nothing was going to happen from it. I got downloaded like hell.

I hope so. It's like a last ditch effort.

The issue with Trump is what call a Trump tragedy.

If Trump implements half measure with his campaign policy prescriptions they are certain to fail. I sure wish Trump were implementing his campaign policy promises under the unitary executive theory. That is a constitutional doctrine holding that the President of the United States possesses sole, absolute authority over the entire executive branch. If people don't like it, f' them. With half measures the policies will fail or just die on the vine. Then when Trump is gone politicians will demonize those policy prescriptions. I can hear the excuses now. "Oh, we have to move on from Trump. Deportations didn't work. That prescription drug program was not good for everyone. Tariffs hurt our economy. "

Instead of backing out of Minneapolis Trump needs to double and triple down.

Instead of ignoring wall construction Trump needs to double fence the wall.

Instead of ignoring illegal workers Trump needs to have a corporate raid a day.

Instead of allowing more H1Bs, Trump needs to ban it.

Just some examples.

Push so hard on said policies that they become part of the American fabric and make it really difficult for successors to reverse.

Massie refuses to work with the Speaker on anything, period. Then whines on Twitter when the Speaker returns the favor. It’s a stupid grift from Massie.

95% or more of them want Trump gone and the MAGA agenda dead; they are just too politically savvy to come out against him openly. He is hindering their grift

The latest Dem talking point in fund raiser emails is:
"Voter fraud is a conspiracy theory."
