Why TF would I have a feed?

None if this applies when it comes to issues of “sin”. Many conservatives don’t want you to be able to decide for yourself what products you consume, whether you want to drink, dance, gamble, have sex, use contraception, dress a certain way, watch a given program, etc.

There absolutely are a whole heck of a LOT of conservatives who don’t “live and let live” where some freedoms are concerned. In those respects, they are no different from the progressives.

You can make your decisions, we just want you and others to be responsible for your actions. Do all of those things you want, if things turn out bad for you that's on you. Clean up your own mess. We advised against your actions, you didn't listen, so F off and fix your own problems.

I agree with this, but there are a LOT of social conservatives who believe even allowing someone the option is sinful, and thus that government should outlaw it.

I remember once asking why a prominent republican donor refused to endorse a candidate in a local race. That candidate was clearly the most qualified republican running, and was immensely popular (to the point that he was literally Santa Claus in the Christmas parade). That donor’s response was that when said candidate was on a local council, he voted to allow a bar to open in the main drag of town, and he refused to support someone who would invite that sort of inequity and sin into his town.

Yes, “Footloose” Republicans absolutely still exist, and are a blight upon the republican movement.

True, but that might be because of the previous government actions. Let's take gambling as an example. (I don't gamble, but don't care if you gamble) A state allows gambling and some people can't make good decisions. Now politicians have a new problem that needs to be "solved". The solution the politicians come to is creating a new department/program and spend millions of tax dollars to solve the problem that the politicians created by allowing gambling. To fund their program, the politicians look to taxpayers to pay just a little more .... I have to pay more to "help" others and that sucks.

If a moderate decides he needs health care, he understands that insurance costs money and is provided as a benefit by most employers for full-time workers. He chooses a path to get treatment and understands that there are both genetic and environmental contributors to physical conditions and he tries to determine what he may have done to contribute to the condition...then he stops doing it. He doesn't elevate his hobbies over his well-being, and he doesn't stick his nose into other people's decisions (so long as it doesn't infringe on him).

A moderate understands that there are only 2 sexes, and also understands that liberals are attempting to work around that fact by referencing "gender" rather than the science of "sexes". A moderate doesn't care what you want to call yourself, so long as you don't put demands on him to change how he or his family does things. Stay in your own lane and keep your creepy stuff to yourself. He believes that bathrooms should be assigned by scientific sex, rather than "gender"...whatever you were born with, that's where you to to pee and poop.

A moderate thinks that "gender definition" shouldn't give anyone an advantage over the other competitors. Again...physical traits are based on scientific sexuality, not "gender assignment". The genitals you were born with...that's who you compete against. Then again, if you want to have separate sports for trans athletes...pay for it yourself and do it. Nobody is going to stop you.

A moderate understands the balance between necessary immigration and abuse of the system. He also understands that there are people who come here to work, be good stewards of the opportunities they are given, and that the country was built on immigration. There a balance to be struck between allowing people to freely cross into the country with no system of control, and Kennkarte.
