That is the basis for all of your points. Last night was McNeese, not the SEC and LSU took what was given to them. Who cares what may or may not happen in an SEC game that hasn't even happened yet.

That is some weird math. A third loss at Tennessee = 4 extra losses down the road??

It almost assuredly won't be a good SEC start with Tennessee the first weekend. Tennessee is going to sweep a lot of teams.

A&M, at SC, and Oklahoma will be tough, but there are some wins to be had vs A&M and SC.

If they can get through the first half of the schedule 5-7 or even 4-8, the second half is very manageable with Missouri, Ole Miss, Miss St, and Auburn

Agree with all that but must be competitive vs Tennessee, can’t look like the inept team that rolled out vs UCLA

A win at Tenn. would give them confidence to win a few more games than I have them winning compared to getting swept.

That's the math.

People who have never coached or played don't understand the value of confidence. If LSU basketball would have won their first SEC game at Texas A @ M, they would have at least 3 more wins right now.
