It's going to be the same guys it's been. The Braves employ Gaudin and Nitkowski, regardless of if the games are televised on bally, gray or whatever.

I wish. I wasn't even a Braves fan as a kid, yet I tuned in to TBS every day in the summer to watch the games to listen to them call the game.

And when I became an adult and understood more of Skip's jokes, he got even funnier.

"The bases are loaded.....and I wish I was too"

Skip was a much better announcer than Harry.

Perhaps. Growing up in the 80's, I saw "old drunk Harry". But my dad who grew up listening to Cardinals games on the radio in the 60's assured me Harry was very good in his prime.

How many MLB teams have their own stations and will this one be affordable?

Can they show The Beastmaster or Conan The Barbarian after the games?

Also, on Skip, he was a great announcer and great baseball guy. But, those who didn't live in the ATL area in the 90's and didn't get to hear his radio call in shows on local radio missed out. They were hilarious. Skip was a curmudgeon and you could tell they were making him do the shows. The 907th guy of the season would call in and ask Skip to explain the Infield Fly Rule and Skip would just lose it on the guy.

Just saw that there will be no blackout restrictions when it comes to the Braves network.

I don't even know who calls the TV games anymore. I prefer Ben Ingram and Joe Simpson on the radio broadcast.

Also I sure miss the days of basic cable in the early to mid 2000s.
TBS: Braves
WGN: Cubs (and White Sox night games)
Sunshine Network: Marlins (and Yankees)
WOR: Mets
ESPN and ESPN 2 with a game almost every night during the summer

Only if they promise to show The Andy Griffith Show during rain delays.
