Not to detract from Jay being the Goat or anything, but can I just say it pains me how boring the NCAA trophies are?
"Congratulations, you've just accomplished the most difficult feat in college athletics, here's your mid-century modern chairback". It's just so...underwhelming.
Obviously, I'm glad these trophies are in LSUs trophy case, but I think they need to be more special and unique to the sport to which they're presented. Just more evidence of the NCAA being an inferior organization.
