Not to worry. They’re not mosques.
They’re Islamic cultural centers.

I would certainly hope this isn’t true but Texas remains a stronghold for Bush-era GOP types so between them and Democrats, I wouldn’t necessarily be shocked if it is valid.

AI Overview
The claim that the Texas state government funneled $13 million in taxpayer funds to mosques and Islamic organizations is misinformation that has circulated on social media platforms.
The false information is often linked to the proposed East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC) development, a project that has been the subject of several state-level investigations initiated by Governor Greg Abbott and Attorney General Ken Paxton. These investigations have been criticized by Muslim advocacy groups and attorneys for the mosque as being groundless.
Key facts:
Source of Funds: The claims circulating online allege that the money came from federal and state monies. However, reports indicate this figure is associated with a private development project (EPIC City, recently renamed "The Meadow"), which is funded through the mosque's development entity, Community Capital Partners, not Texas taxpayer money.

This isn’t about Bush-era this or that. This is about old fashioned political graft. Some Muzzies paid off the governor and a few key legislators and they sold their country and state down river.

Separation between church and state?
Only that is only when it's Christians.
