Most fans moved past the anger stage long ago. This is the apathy stage.
If LSU retains MM for next season then it will be unequivocally telling the fans it doesn’t care about the basketball program…so why should the fans?

I'm a fan, but I just don't think after all the money just paid towards football that they drop the money needed for basketball.

I see that argument alot an I get where you’re coming from but that’s projecting football logic onto basketball. In CBB you don’t need to go get a Kiffin or a Kelly. You go get someone like Matt Braeuer on the cheap. McMahon is a top 50 paid coach nationally. He makes more than UNC’s coach in terms of base salary. He makes the same as Mark Few at Gonzaga. You don’t have to pay that for a good coach and there are tons of them. Players it’s the same, there are so many good basketball players out there. Take Houston for example, Sampson has had three 5* recruits the entire time he’s been there and they’re 2nd or 3rd nationally in wins over the last decade or so. It’s nothing like football, there’s a dozen ways to skin a cat in basketball.
