If it's determined that he broke any American laws, he will get indicted by an American court. King Charles has pretty much said, he will have to face justice here if that happens.

He’s got charges in the UK which carry a life sentence so there’s no need. Plus, aren’t extraditing a member of the royal family, even if he lost his titles and status.

Can't imagine the fear within a Brit, to be staring down the barrel of a US prison sentence. They definitely wouldn't do that to former royalty.
It may well be what he deserves, but I agree he won't face it.
