I’ve had this argument not long ago about this being a Christian nation, even with my own brother. You have to be in denial or very dense to think it’s not a Christian nation.

Well, this thread is guaranteed to go about 15 pages in length as Christians try to argue we live in a theocratic society and reasonable people remind them it's actually, by motherfricking law, and for good reason, a secular nation.

A theocracy is something entirely different.
But I have no problem acknowledging that our nation has been influenced by Christian values more than any other philosophy. And if someone wants to describe America as a Christian nation, I have no problem with that.

And I mostly agree. Except for when people start trying to use that as a jumping off point for discriminating against people of other faiths. And that will happen in this thread as well.

I haven't watched CNN in years. But for a very long time I have known the MSM does view the Christian religion as a direct threat to its existence as a political contributor.
What I do not get is the MSM can say what ever it wants in the political spectrum, without challenge. A Christian church is held back by the Johnson Amendment, though I really do not think that amendment has any teeth.
Let's pray the Christian churches rise up as one and confront this horrible MSM.
