IRAN: Why are we about to go to war with them?

The previous strike was successful in taking out their nuclear program and air defenses.
Placed sanctions back on them and significantly hampered their ability to wage a proxy war.
What has changed in the time since the first strike?

They have killed tens of thousands of their own citizens in violent clashes with protestors. They are also the largest state-sponsor of terror remaining in the world.

They continue to enrich uranium……do you want terrorists to have nuclear weapons?

We aren’t about to go to war with them. Trump likes to do quick strikes - we won’t be occupying Iran - Qatar is fueling the anti Israel bs on the podcast bros podcasts and young men are falling for it

No new wars, folks.

Realpolitik-They are our geopolitical enemy. They have kidnapped and murdered us for decades. They have brought Shia fundamentalist violence to all their Sunni neighbors, destabilized the region, and kept Israel and Yemen and Lebanon and others so unstable through proxy groups like Hezbollah, that we have to spend untold billions maintaining peace and securing shipping in the region. We also finally have the Saudi Kingdom ready to do peace accords that can change the region and stabilize the entire region and make it infinitely more prosperous and freer. And a King who loathes Iran and is ready for post-Mullah peace. And Iran is tottering. So yeah, it's what we've been waiting for-our mortal enemy at its weakest point and an opportunity for regional stability we would not be likely to see again for decade. Pretty simple. We have the power to achieve this-Trump understands that-and so we wait. Theoretically, the Mullahs could always abdicate and make this all a moot point, right?

Because the people are Persian, were conquered by Muzzies, tricked by Muzzie leadership, and now want to go back to their Western Cultural roots….read some history

Trump has moved a lot more of his toys to the region. What are we going to do…just let them sit there?

In the 1970's the US gave 3 billion (8 billion in todays dollars) to the Mujahideen (The Taliban).
We also gave 1 billion to rebel groups in syria. (Timber Sycamore)
The Iranians simply learned from the US.

Oh I thought Trump was sending thousands of boots on the ground and we were going to shack up in Iran for the next 29 years

Meh. It's just gonna be a drive by shooting. Not worth losing an American.
