Who watched the SEC Storied on DD Breaux?

For the most part, I enjoyed it.
Thought it was bullshite to do an entire NIL segment built around Livvy Dunne.
I’ll never understand the hype around her. She was average at best on the floor and looks like every other blonde girl at her age.
Took away from the story.
Flame away.

From a marketing and brand standpoint. Livvy has been very important, don’t understand the hate

Sure. I’ll give you that.

It’s not “hating” to say she wasn’t good.
She wasn’t.

She was good. She was highly recruited. She sat behind some elite gymnasts during her time here.

Livvy is one of the few if not only legit NIL star when it became NCAA legal. She became a millionaire overnight on business she built herself on TikTok and Instagram that had nothing to do with being an LSU athlete. LSU was quick to attach the brand on her arse and capitalize off of it. Since then she has built the NIL model for female athletes.

There are doctors that can help with that…

When she came to LSU she was on the US National team for her age group.

Lost all credibility showing her.

Never once said this isn’t true. What I did say is that it’s a joke to do a segment on her/NIL during a story on DD Breaux.

And when she got to LSU, she wasn’t good. Why is this so hard to understand? We see it all the time in baseball, football, and basketball recruiting.

DD is a badass! That was my main takeaway. Very cool to relive their natty through the lens of that documentary.
Regarding the Livvy issue, I think your complaint is misguided at Livvy and should be more towards the director. It was choppy the way they jumped through that era.
But to throw shade at Livvy is shortsighted. She is instrumental in LSU Athletics’ NIL movement and branding… and even more so to LSU Gymnastics. DD’s legacy and advocacy for women’s sports allowed someone like Livvy to thrive in the NIL space. So I do think it was extremely important to include it.

I’ll own that. That’s fair.

DD did something, no other LSU Coach has done, a very few people have done. Anyone want to guess?
