Chris Gotterup is on a heater lately. Birdied 11 of his last 12 holes crossing 2 tourneys.

And his start today -5 thru 5

Scores are low today, but I think on Sunday it's gonna get pretty windy out there.

At least, I hope that's the case.

Pebble has no defense against these guys now, even in US Open set up playing as a par 71, when the wind is down.

Sam Burns @ -9 in second place. Hope he can keep it going.

Scheffler better eat what Hisatsune is eating. He's very unScotty-like today.

Useless information warning...

Hisatsune - Not sure without seeing the kanji characters, but hisa is probably "sun" and tsune is "constant", so "constant sun".

Matsuyama is easy. Matsu is pine tree and yama is mountain, so pine tree mountain.

Now for Danish -

A scheffler is a barrel maker, same as cooper in English.

A snedeker is a person that makes door and window frames.

Chris Gotterup: 10th round of 64 or lower since beginning of last PGA Tour season; only Scottie Scheffler (14) has more in that span

In the clubhouse at -8 for the day.

Maybe LIV let a fuse under the Japanese by kicking them all off LIV in favor of the Koreans.

Hitsasune and Hideki coming out of the gates flying in the season.

Scottie looks like he did early last year. People blamed it on the hand injury but outside of Waste Management he’s never played particularly well (by his standards) during the Hawaii/West Coast swing.

POA isn’t easy if you’re from Texas.
