guess my advice to you would be to let your son make his own choice

I feel your pain. He was raised a tiger from birth as we have only been here 3 years, his mold is set. I just dont want this to become an issue at school, but I am afraid that is beyond my control and it already has

I understand...I was born and raised a Tiger (Auburn)...and I was also born and raised in South Louisiana...growing up in Baton Rouge...was not always easy! (and still isn't)

I would do that after I'd go meet the parents.

Yep,they teach them all about that " 'Bama class" at an early age.

frick you 59. This had nothing to do with "Bama". It had to do with a crap kid. If he was my son I'd beat his as 'til he couldn't sit down. Just sayin'.

she said before hand she wanted to wear her Auburn football jersey…….and this Saturday night I am taking her to the men’s game and I will give her the choice of which team she wants to wear…

Tell her to wear her Auburn shirt and if any douchebag gives her/y'all a hard time ,tell them to drop dead/

Tell him that LSU fans have nothing to prove. Two MNCs in this decade and Bama's last one was 92 means who gives a shite what they are saying. Sometimes you just have to blow it off.

The lesson is that most Bama fans are idiots.

Please explain to me how a stupid kid doing something wrong has ANYTHING to do with LSU's two NC's?? You crack me up.

True, a majority of the boys in his class are Alabama fans and they give him the expected "Roll Tide" on occasion, and he's okay with that, but this kid, I believe, has other issues. In a way I am proud that he had the courage to defend his team, but disappointed in the outcome, of course.

I understand your wife's concerns, but as you said, the cat is out of the bag. I say dress him in LSU gear everyday, remind the teachers/admins of what happened with the other kid, and teach him to be proud of his team and that he has the right to wear LSU gear anytime/anywhere. Good luck.

maybe he should write a letter to saban. I hear that's what most of the other elementary schools are doing over here

What I'm more amazed about is that growing up we had a kid in our grade with MD and nearly everyone in the class had his back. So if this prick had laid a hand on your son, at least 10 other guys were going after the guy.

My son stood up against a group of boys for a little kid that doesn't "fit in" very well earlier this year. Now that kid idolizes John and wants to hang out with him all the time. John's a little embarrassed by it, but doesn't run the little guy off. Not all "Bama" kids are jerks.

If Saban found out about a Bama kid doing this to an LSU kid, he'd be furious! Tell your son to tell those kids that Saban would rather be at LSU...just be honest with them

This is sadly just not the case at his school. He has friends, but few and they weren't around.
