Fox News Hannity first story is of course about Guthrie. Might as well be a Nancy Grace or a dateline story. What about the save act which will essentially save this country for years to come? She’s one in 300 million people. Something has got to be going on. Thankfully, Newsmax has the save act as the top headline.

Keep them on that story. We don’t need the media interfering with the agenda to save the country.

I think a lot of it boils down to ratings. The American public loves true crime stories. People love to feel like they are solving a mystery. We have had cop/legal dramas on tv for decades. NCIS, Law and Order SVU have been on tv for years now and are long past needing to be taken of the air. People go crazy over crime dramas and True crime tv shows.

Fox is off the chain with this story. No new intel and they keep repeating the same shite with the same experts who don’t know shite.

Jesse Waters, I’ve lost all respect for ya! I hope it’s your boss man making you do this.

The Guthrie story was planned to cover for the SAVE Act shenanigans.

I feel terrible for the family and hope the lady will somehow be found ok but yes, the media is beside themselves with wall to wall coverage as if this were the seminal event of our time.

It’s such a a waste of air time. Can’t we report some really newsworthy stuff? We do have a few things going on.

Do people actually find it riveting. I’ve completely tuned it out.

I hope that she’s ok, but I don’t understand the point of this breathless, wall to wall coverage.

I think the media is obsessed with it bc they’re obsessed with themselves and they think every news story is really about them anyway- so when you have one of them involved - it’s even worse. I love Megyn Kelly but I can’t listen to her. I don’t need to hear 14 retired law enforcement people spending 3 hours analyzing 2 seconds of ring camera stuff and Bitcoin is so fricking confusing to me I just zone out regardless

Nothing to me is more boring than when a “news” person thinks the story is all about them. It’s why if Sean Hanmity is speaking- I just change the channel.

I’d probably pay more attention (although still minimal) if this lady was just a normal person’s mom. I find myself annoyed with poor Ms Nancy and that’s not her fault.

You are right about the media loving themselves and because Guthrie is a member they focus even harder on the story. I do think though most people are invested and interested. Go wherever you get podcasts at and type in true crime. You will still be scrolling through them this time tomorrow. We are obsessed with crime as a society. There is a reason crime dramas are on tv every night of the week on every network and not syfi shows.
