I work in government and was initially concerned but I found they did do an efficient operation at the level they allowed it to go. Would be nice to get back to it, tbh. They did get rid of some serious dead weight.

DOGE was a total failure. Elon said he wouldn't do it again if asked.
They should have went after DOD first if they were serious.

Oh yeah, GOP has been and remains worthless.
I hold more contempt for many of them than even the batshite Dems.
Pubs “say all the right things” to get elected / re-elected ….then promptly do not a whole lot.

DOGE has continued since Elon returned to his regular jobs. Trump’s cabinet has continued those efforts.

DOGE is not a failure for the simple fact that they led to the elimination of USAID. Throw in the house cleaning of SS roles and everything else is langiape.
