This and maybe Oklahoma are the best chances of wins down the stretch. We’re not sniffing an NIT

Probably turn it down tbh. Especially if they let McMahon go.

They turned it down last year and would do the same again

Any postseason for LSU would require finding Tuba players to roster.

It really depends on how many teams make the ncaa tournament. Top 2 teams not in the ncaa tournament get and auto bid to the NIT.

So the goal post has moved, no more tourney so now NIT. How many more losses before you realize this team is going nowhere.

LSU played better basketball last year than this year. They beat a good Arkansas team at home and came from waaay back late to upset Oklahoma on the road. This year's LSU team is just rotten

good chance for McMahon to prove he can turn it around

Ten SEC teams will likely make it in; Missouri is on the cusp. I think they'll win enough of their remaining games to make it in.
Of the five remaining teams, LSU and Oklahoma are currently the two NIT qualifiers, ahead of Ole Miss, Miss State and South Carolina, in that order. Obviously LSU still has work to do to remain an NIT contender. If somehow they change course and get hot they can get back in the NCAA mix-- there's still scads of Quad 1 games left for them to make a noise.
