Most slept on part of Coach O. Yeah, he gave up after the Natty, but his staffs were solid.

link or stfu clown. stop repeating false narratives.

you mean COVID? BLM? and players quitting on O contributed heavily to his demise? that would be a YES. O did not quit on anything.

Peetz wasn’t ready to be a playcaller. Doesn’t mean he was always going to suck, but he wasn’t ready to be in the booth running the whole offense. One of the toughest things about calling plays is you have to have the next play ready before the current play is over. Our offense would just stare at the sideline until there was 3 seconds left on the clock then everything was chaos.

He would’ve greatly benefited from having a guy like Ensminger in the booth like Brady did.

Legend has it, some of Peetz playcalls while at LSU are still making their way down to the field.

Good for Peetz. Glad for him and Darnold actually. They at least planned different schemes for their passing game. They mixed in some rollouts and bootlegs to slow down the rush. I was saying the whole 2nd half that the Pats need to mix in different schemes and looks to help the OL and buy time for Maye and keep the Def guessing. But they kept running the same crap, drop back pass time and time again.
Peetz and Kubiak at least mixed it up a bit. Having an experienced QB helped a lot.

Bruh

While all of that certainly had an effect on O and his coaching ability, dude has admitted he fricked up

He said himself he didn’t interview Bo Pelini before hiring him

He lost his drive to grind every day. Nothing wrong with that. It’s a natural reaction to reaching the mountain top.

The Auburn game that year was the most embrassing thing I've ever seen from an offense. Peetz refused to call a play until he saw the defense line up. Our offense would stand in formation and Auburn's defense purposely just piddled around and wouldn't get set until 10 seconds on the play clock. We struggled so bad to get play calls in that night we called 4 of the 6 timeouts just to avoid a delay of game. We were attempting a last minute drive to win the game and had to burn a timeout on the first play of the series after the punt/kickoff.

The OC should be Janacko, they have to go through Rooney rule first. I’m sure Peetz will interview for Seahawks OC and if he doesn’t get it, he’ll follow to Vegas in some capacity.
