Let's get him an above average WR and see if that O Line grows up a bit before we quit on a year 2 QB. Darnold just won after being much worse than Year 2 Maye for 6 years of his career.

OL was rough but he had two good running backs, a good TE, two good WR, and a host of other decent WR.

Diggs/Boutte/Hollins/Douglas/Henry/Stevenson/Henderson is one of the better skill groups in the league.

Big Grand Canyon size gap from “quitting on him” and him being one vote away from winning MVP….

I’ve seen you bring this up a couple times now. What the frick does the playoffs have to do with the regular season MVP award?

Its 4 games. Thats 25% of an nfl season. The Pats played a historically easy schedule. I think it shows that kinda mattered for his stats through the year

I think Maye can still be a good QB. I think his hype and the pats overall this year were unwarranted

Saints lost to two of the top five.

I think they have good RB's, average TE's and Below Average WR's tbh

The biggest thing that changed for them in the playoffs is that the left side of the O Line was good enough to hold up against mediocre/bad comp and once they had to hold up to elite Pass Rushers, it really put Maye in a bind.

Manning's body was shot but he still had a lot of football IQ and experience crammed into that helmet. Maye lacked experience and got zero help from his teammates.

Remember how quickly everyone crowned CJ Stroud? Let's see how Maye does next year with a 1st place schedule. Plus it looks like the Pats used the #4 overall pick on a LT that should be playing guard so that's not good. Now they gotta go LT in the 2026 draft again.
