If Wade is not an option…Bennett is 56, won a natty, 2 time national coach of the year, wife is from Baton Rouge and an LSU alum. Cool story, I met Scott Woodward at Digulio’s during the last basketball coaching search, I asked him if he happened to go to LSU with or knew Bennetts wife, he smiled and said he didn’t know her.

TB will never coach again before NIL is sorted. His system relies on long term development and he hated the new world of college basketball.

UVA has been down since the nc and the pmac is already a morgue so having an offense that struggles to 50 would be ugly. He is an improvement over MM for sure. Then again most posters dogs could win more than MM

Would be horrible. I’d drown myself in McChickenNugget sauce before watching LSU play a bunch of 48-44 games.

Wade understood this, he said at LSU you can’t win 48-44, you have to put on a show.
Bennett is a coach from a by gone era and would fail here. He would still be better than MM but he isn’t winning the sec or getting boosters excited. He also hates NIL and the portal

Not if it is winning big.
That said, Bennett left because he didn’t like the new world of CBB. That hasn’t changed since he left. In fact, it’s gotten worse with pros wanting to return to college.
