When you lose the fans base, it's time for a change. Not only has Coach Mac lost the fans base, let's face it, we stink.

MM lost the base and never tried to win them over.

He clearly doesn’t understand what Brown and Wade did. Which was to be successful at LSU you have to work and promote the program

I watched a lot of college basketball yesterday building up my on-line account preparing for today’s Super Bowl. One thing that stood out to me was the atmosphere at the following venues:

Michigan State
Kentucky
NC State
Marquette
TCU
Vanderbilt
Auburn
North Carolina

Present day LSU is nowhere near the atmosphere of these venues yesterday. That tells me it is past time to cut bait and make basketball a priority again.

Some will try to lie and say the pmac has never been rowdy but that’s completely untrue. When LSU is good the pmac gets packed and rowdy.

Brady beat Lute Olsens arse twice in a rocking pmac.

Brown more about promotion than coaching. Terrible in game coach. Great recruiter.

Brown was a great program builder and recruiter and motivator but yes his x and o weren’t good as put on display by Bobby knight

He did work his arse off traveling all over to build up the program. That is something MM has failed at

I still support him. Give him another year, he just needs his next Ja Morant in next year’s class.

Unfortunatly MM never had support at LSU.His lack of personality and energy was his undoing from the day he got here.If Verge doesn’t fire him after this season it’s because the big money boosters don’t want to pay the buyout. They couldn’t let the cash cow, football, crash and burn but as long as MBB makes a profit they might just wait until next year and then make the decision to move on from MM.I hope I’m wrong but I don’t hear any noise from bigwigs that we heard with BK.

You don’t hear much from the big basketball boosters.

So just because they aren’t rumbling doesn’t mean a change won’t happen

All other Division I programs play to win. LSU plays for fun.

Bag on his coaching but he’s out there working fans., especially youth in trying to ramp up support… he greets and talk to anyone that runs across his path “, even after tough loses. His ability to win is ultimately what matters so there no need to spread bullshite.

Only a few on this board even understand that these exist or that they are markedly different(and fewer) than big football boosters.

They tend to be more patient and get access to the coach. That is part of why MM got another year, I think. He is very good with people one-on-one, from what I have heard, the nice guy thing that people make fun of.

But I believe his welcome has worn out, even with those who backed him. And he almost definitely won't be fired until after the regular season

I just hope it’s after THIS regular season. Another year of this crap product is a disturbing thought.

Barring a McMiracle 8-game stretch to finish the season, it will be after this season.
