Went to Lee’s Drive In in Hammond. I had a club sandwich with onion rings, my wife had a grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. :)

We have a great French bakery by our house that makes a great sourdough loaf. It’s an extra stop but 10x better than the bread at the grocery store where we get the bacon produce and cold cuts. Absolute game changer.

While that does sound good, when I’m craving a traditional club, I want some plain white bread… maybe Texas toast. Has to be toasted.

It was good. Still have a few places around that make good ones.

Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Coconut Rice/Beans and some hush puppies because I forgot to buy plantains to fry up.

Is that roast beef on a club?

I don't hate that at all, but I've never seen such a thing either. Always just turkey/ham/bacon.
