And then will complain that nobody loves them.
“Multiple members of Team USA’s freestyle skiing team took the opportunity to trash U.S. immigration policies and the country itself ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy.”
If we taxpayers subsidize this team we need to end it. They can pay their own way.

We watched a bit of men’s figure skating and some snowboard freestyle stuff today
One figure skater got like 110 points in a routine that was easy
The scores made no sense to me
I’m bad at snowboarding and ice skating though

Anything judged in the Winter Olympics generally makes zero sense unless you're part of that niche sport. (See terminology of tricks and scoring in snowboarding, foreign to the average viewer).
Which is why I always liked the Downhill, you can tune in and out, fastest one down wins...waiting on spills and crashes.
Ice skating judging? You need a Degree in International Affairs.

They aren’t subsidized by taxpayers. They’re typically sponsored, rely on private donations, and broadcast revenues.
That’s why Flava Flav helped fundraise and pay for the US Water Polo teams in the Summer Olympics.
So I’m sure they’ll be fine.
