Skiing is not really fun to watch unless they’re going 80 mph

I mean, I’m sure the jumps and tricks are incredibly difficult and I respect their ability but yeah, whatever.
This doesn't include the traditional ski jump which is awesome.

I love the biathlon and cross countries. For some reason, watching them fly through a hilly course that seems impossible to do fascinates me. Some of the fittest folks on the planet

I'm glued to it, downhill skiing is amazing. I'd like to see downhill snowboarding

The event where 3 or 4 snowboarders go downhill at once and battle for position is a fun one as well

It’s also worth noting that you’re watching pre-lims, before they get into the finals runs. Any trick/air based sport isn’t going to pull out the big stuff until the finals.

Not sure why these events (and some others) aren’t in the Winter X Games, that’s where they belong.

Most people probably don’t appreciate how fearless these people are. Skiing 80 mph down a 25 degree slope ain’t no joke.

For the most part I agree, but the biathlon is awesome.
