Where can I find good crawfish bisque and is it still too early to be on the menu?

I know Maison Lacour has a damn fine version... had it last week

Not BR, but The Francis is the only place I can recall seeing it the way I like it (darker roux, stuffed heads, etc.).
Oh! I think Mike Anderson's does that version during crawfish season too! Looks like they're on Mardi Gras menu still, but it'll switch to like "Crawfish Celebration" something or another soon enough.

I like Duke's over Don's but they are both the best in BR.

I've had it at Elsie's, they have crawfish fritters, instead of stuffed heads.

On a business trip to BR, I ordered this. The portion was ridiculous and it was fantastic!

Louisiana Lagniappe has it on their menu fairly often. They have old school stuffed heads.
