ICE arrests Guatemalan man, convicted child sex offender, after Maryland prison release

So much for all the commie politicians who pride themselves in 'protecting' children. This bastard was released just 1 year into his 25 year sentence for sexual attack on a child. How I'd love to wipe that smirk off his vile face! Go Maryland!

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has apprehended a Guatemalan national and convicted child sex offender, shortly after his unexpected release from a Maryland prison.
According to officials, Anthony Rodriguez-Gregorio, who was serving a 25-year sentence for the sexual assault of a child he was babysitting, was released just over a year into his term.
ICE Baltimore swiftly detained him following his release.
Officials say Rodriguez-Gregorio, who has a final removal order, was convicted in 2024 for the crime.
The circumstances behind his early release have not been disclosed.

The Maryland officials who set him free should have to do his remaining 24 yrs in prison.

I would like to think that they released him and notified ICE in an effort to forego taking care of the scumbag for the next 25 years, feeding him and providing him a comfortable place to reside. TBH, sending him back to his homeland might be worse than letting him live in a climate controlled prison with a guarantee of meals and cable TV for the next 25 years. If that is the case I can support it, however I hope the scumbag doesn't commit another abusive attack on a child. Perhaps instead of 25 years, he should have gotten castration and deportation.

Maryland does not have a history of informing ICE. Actually, quite the opposite.
I just cannot digest the fact that dangerous illegals, in Maryland, are purposely released without any notification. How these people sleep at night is incredible.
