I like that and it would be a good way to plausibility-test a lot of viral stories. You start not with “is it creepy?” but “what would literally happen next in the real world?”
Like, imagine the full chain: normal credit card purchase, shipping address, tracking number… and then what shows up? A piece of furniture or a child in a FedEx box?
The part that always trips me up is the risk profile. If someone were actually running a trafficking operation, using the most visible, traceable, public retail platform imaginable seems like the worst possible way to do it.

Exactly. The kid also has to stay silent the entire time and if he or she were shipped air freight they’d have to survive that too.
Does the seller have a return policy if the child arrives dead? How do ship it back? Is a team sent to your residence to dispose of the body? These things must be worked out prior to starting this venture.

Will Anyone be completely exposed and prosecuted and stopped? Looking at the Grammys no one's been caught or arrested. Looking at diddy in club fed... Martha Stewart Prison... For 13 months probably reduced sentence.
Sadly It doesn't look like it's going to ever be prosecuted and stopped...
