The Lying Media (MSM) will always work overtime to get those types elected POTUS due to the harm those types commit upon Americans and American society.
It is why I preach the MSM (Lying Media) is the Number 1 enemy of the United States of America!!
After all, how horrible are Gavin Newscum's numbers as a governor?

The old joke in Arkansas was the only way they could get rid of the Clintons was to elect Bill president

I remember Bill Clinton came out of left field in a way. No one really took him seriously, which is always a mistake. He had been governor of Arkansas for about 12 years but it wasn’t an impressive tenure. He was thought of as a hick from a backwards state, a corrupt and dirty politician, everyone knew he was a liar, everyone knew he had multiple extramarital affairs. Four years earlier he was booed off the stage at the Democrat National Convention for being boring and talking too long. And no one liked his bitch wife, despite the media running glowing stories about her.
But the guy most Democrats liked, Paul Tsongas, got sick and dropped out. Jerry Brown was thought to be too much of a wacko job. And Bill Clinton went to McDonald’s and played the saxophone on Arsenio Hall. George Bush was one of the worst political campaigners in history, a recession hit, Bush betrayed his voters by breaking his signature campaign promise of no new taxes, and the Democrats and their media made hay off Rodney King and the chaos and riots that went wild during the election year, always a bad thing for Republicans (Democrats have been sowing chaos and social unrest in election years for a long time and it usually works for them by motivating their base and tiring others like independents who just want it to stop).
And Bill Clinton won and the rest is history.

You're forgetting something.
If Ross Perot doesn't syphon off almost 19% of the popular vote, it's a lot more likely that Bush wins.

True.
Ross Perot was probably a difference maker.
Without looking it up, I think Bill Clinton was elected President with about 43% of the vote.

Clinton never won a majority of the vote in his two presidential elections. He won 43% in 92 and 49.2 in 1996.

So that great sucking sound from NAFTA was not only American jobs, but also Bush’s poll numbers when Ross Perot ran for president.

Yep, a fella named Ross Perot from Arkansas also and real heavy, like GHW Bush in the CIA world , ran as a 3rd party candidate.
Go figger.

Yep, and when you look at the very low turnout in both of those elections, less than 16% of the American voters voted for him. So the media spent the next 25 years telling America how much Americans loved Slick and Cankles!!

He was on his 5th term. They couldn’t have been that bad
