Lodging near SoFi stadium

Getting way out ahead of this one... but 2028 olympic swimming is going down at sofi stadium. Lodging is my logistics portion of this adventure. Anything in the immediate area y'all would recommend... or recommend avoiding?

Wife and I have been to a couple of concerts at SOFI and we always stay at The Westin Los Angeles Airport. For concerts they hire a 3rd party company to run shuttles and it's about a 15 min shuttle ride to the stadium. The area around SOFI is definitely rough, and I would not venture out on foot.

Still, I wouldn't want to stay in the area unless I had a good rental nearby.

Just stay at a hotel next to LAX. It is less than 4 miles from LAX to Sofi. We flew into LAX to go a concert at the Forum right before Covid & it worked out great. Cab or Uber to Sofi. It didn't even take 10 minutes to get there from the hotel by LAX.

Yes to this. I'm in LA quite a bit for work (currently here
) and always stay at the co-branded H Hotel and Homewood Suites near LAX the night before I take off back to Chicago. There are a big grouping of hotels right here and you can easily walk to/from the terminals (or just hotel shuttle, I guess). Can take a bus or quick Uber/Lyft to SoFi and Intuit.This post was edited on 2/2/26 at 11:02 pm
