Says “Ignore actual gameplay content”
Then says “tHe GaMiNg InDuStRy Is So CoOkEd!!”
Dipshits like this say Nintendo games are for kids because the graphics aren’t as good as the PS5

He’s not entirely wrong. This was just a 3 second stab at it. You don’t think as AI gets better and he spends a few days coding it that it won’t be even better than what he just showed?
How about AI created maps/dungeons which are completely different every play through?
Gaming absolutely has to be in notice for how this can improve or accelerate their work. No doubt a decent bit of employees will no longer be needed

This.
AI technology has only been in laypeople's hands for the last three or four years at most, and it's already able to do what the OP posted. If things continue to progress, imagine what it'll be able to do in 10 years.

Y'all are missing the joke; he was dunking on Starfield, not claiming to have made an objectively good game

The technology is impressive, but are we going to ignore that it rips assets right out of the actual video games themselves?

The joke is also the future, so both comments are warranted. They already did the Doom AI game, that was real-time generated and playable.
AI is actually a much needed addition for repeat/unique playability. Starfield would have been an amazing game if it had more substance on each planet.
I looked forward to GTA VII in 2040 where everyone's game is unique thanks to AI.

What’s that development medieval game that’s open worlds, full bass and army building, and had a trailer recently with Tom Hardy‘s voice acting?
I saw a post somewhere when I saw the trailer saying that this game is gonna be the first of a trilogy and is utilizing a lot of AI in its development. The post said that subsequent games two and three will both have progressively more AI involvement in the great process to the point where the third game will be nearly(or at least majorly) AI created. This is obviously a longshot and, if these games all even get published, it likely won’t be as AI heavy as they aim for.
Regardless, I think it’s obvious that within the next 10 years AI is gonna be so integral to video game development that development companies will be run by a skeleton crew and we may be able to even make really pretty, in depth, and personalized video games ourselves using AI programs
