Agree with that. Hopefully SCOTUS comes to the correct conclusion so we can bring more jobs back into the USA.

One potential way is to immediately require business with government contracts to cease offshoring or face termination of contracts. The federal government has a lot of contracts with a lot of companies and put pressure on those companies last year with the anti-DEI initiatives.

I fully support this for sure. You can run into issues though if no vendors meet the criteria.

YES you can use the hammer of in the interest of American National Security.
There are many ways to remedy these things, right now Trump chooses not to.
And its not just Trump, a lot of state Governments are worse.

Free Market says someone else will step in if this is the case.

Perhaps, but in some cases this could take years for something you can't wait years for.
It's like when black city governments refuse to hire white men to work city jobs because they want diversity, but there are no qualified minorities.

I agree but won't this just result in a billion lawsuits from salty contractors that all magically wind up with Boasberg making the ruling??

Biden and Hussien fricked Americans for 12 years. MAGA can't reverse damage in 1 year.

Trump was President for 5 years out of the last 10.
And hes proven, when its something he wants, he moves lightning quick. There's no reason to believe he couldn't with this.

As someone mentioned, they don't get govt contracts. Like energy companies moving engineering and work management jobs to some call center in India, just tell them the US military will no longer buy your fuel. OR, you will get no new leases in the Gulf of America.

How is this Trumps fault? And the real issue is that "people under 40" don't want to buy a starter home. Most think a starter home is 2000+ square feet 4 bed, 3 bath with a double car garage.
quote:Again, how is this Trumps fault. These "college graduates" are getting worthless degrees and have no real life work experience. They think that they should get jobs right out of college for $100k+ yet only have a degree in underwater basket weaving.

quote:There is risk of lawsuit in every action taken. However the government does have a lot of room to pressure companies who enter into voluntary contracts with them. Those contracts tend to be very lucrative and hard to walk away from. Many companies made substantial changes to their DEI policies last year because the government put pressure on them to do so using contracts.
