I used to be apart of the McMen and thought this would be a Bruce Pearl type turnaround like what was seen at Auburn. It took Pearl a bit to get the wheels spinning over there, but when they started turning they starting rolling fast with no breaks.

It does not appear that McMahon will be able to make this turnaround, so who do we get to replace him?

We're not even laughing at this point. It's just annoying now.

Pipe dream - in order

1 - Billy Donovan
2 - Will Wade

Others in no particular order

I think either of these would be a really good hire:

Josh Schertz
Jerrod Calhoun

These are guys you might be worth taking a shot on. Somewhat low experience levels.

Preston Spradlin
Takayo Siddle
Tony Skinn

Those are my marginally informed thoughts on the matter.

I'm on the Josh Schertz bandwagon.

18 seasons as a head coach at D II Lincoln Memorial, Indiana State and currently St Louis.

7 seasons with 20-29 victories.
6 seasons with 30+ victories.
1 .500 season.
1 season below .500.

This consistency, and year 1-to-2 improvement, is what you're looking for in a head coach.
