Republicans have sure turned against the 2A all of a sudden. Now just having a gun on you means you have bad intentions and deserve to die. Can't wait to hear the flop flopping when it happens to a maga person.

Both of them are. Context matters. Keep melting.

Carrying a firearm while getting in the face of law enforcement officers with the intent to disrupt their lawful duty is asking for trouble. If he was across the street minding his own business holding a sign, he'd be alive today.

So, the political party in charge gets to determine the context in which a citizen carry a gun and when?

Really, you want that?

I generally don’t interact with you because you’re the dumbest person on this site from your comments.

Was he brandishing the fire arm or was he recording with a camera?

Trump doesn't care about the 2A, we all know that

I don't think he'll do anything to undermine it other than stuff like this, though

He was standing off to the side, videoing with his phone, when an ICE agent walked 20+ yards oevr to pepper spray him and then tackle him. His gun, which he never brandished, was removed from his person. He was shot and killed several seconds after he was disarmed.

What was the context of both quotes in both situations?

Are you upset only one of them is dead? It has to keep you up at night that your team failed twice to kill Trump.

Who said that? You’re so dumb you can’t acknowledge individuals think for themselves and understand both have a different context. If Kirk was alive he wouldn’t be supporting a guy carrying interfering with law enforcement

This is obvious

But they have to hold the line with agreeing with Trump even if it means abandoning their most sacred principles

Because these days it's all about how to deflect blame and how to place blame by our so-called elected leaders from all sides.

I know this may seem like a foreign concept to many, but it IS completely possible for someone to be supportive of ICE and other immigration officials going into cities and rounding up illegals for detainment and even deportation, AND still acknowledge that the agent who shot that guy multiple times and killed him acted stupidly and possibly even criminally. It doesn’t have to be 100% all or nothing.

Agencies and departments have bad apples and incompetent individuals, or poorly trained individuals, working for them all the time. It doesn't mean that agency's mission is wrong or that said agency should be defunded. In fact, true leadership is being able to acknowledge when something may have gone wrong, investigate to find out all that happened, and being able to admit things weren't handled completely properly, if that's what the facts ultimately show.
