Know & Remember This....The VAST VAST MAJORITY believe+follow+respect "The Rule of Law"!

NEVER ONCE have I ever Considered or even Thought about
"Resisting or Running From" ANY Law Enforcement Officer or Official.
Normal, Civil, Sensible people respect & appreciate the need for Laws in Society. You may not agree with all the Rules, Laws, etc. Reasonable, sane individuals, however, understand that the Police & Law Enforcement's role/job/duty is to Enforce the Law.
Rather than argue, fight, resist or run......I am grateful & cooperate.
People who generally & typically distrust, disrespect and seem to always, automatically "have a problem with authority" are deeply flawed, maladjusted, dangerous and should simply be avoided.

and still...
Covid times seriously dinged my faith "in authority", I would never consider showing my arse with law enforcement. Not because of any deeply inherent trust or respect, but out of self preservation.

The reason you don't mouth off or resist law enforcement primarily is because they have the agency to deploy the state's monopoly on violence.
