Already beat #22 Clemson and now #16 Arizona

Looking like a potential top 10 team this year. From zero SEC wins last year to this is a hell of a turnaround by Danny Bryan.

And the LSU women’s team is also the clear tile favorite this year as well

Really happy for him. I think he's going to do a solid job here after the struggles

Really good win today at Arizona. That's a super tough place to play and they've been a consistent top 15 program for a while now.

The newcomers at 1 and 2 are really strong. One of the strongest top spots in the nation now

If LSU beats Pepperdine tomorrow they'll qualify for the national indoors final 16 in mid-feburary. That'll guarantee three matches agains the top teams in the nation and a shot at the indoor national title

LSU women are stacked at the top of the lineup. Brace and Cross are the top 2 UTR rated players in women’s college. They were the only two college players in the women’s draw (qualifying) at the Aussie Open. Add in great pickups and replacements at the 3rd and 4th lines, they are a legit national title contender this year.

That said - I wouldn’t say they are the clear favorite. I follow and listen to a number of tennis podcasts including college….and the consensus talk is that this is the first time in a few years it’s not either aTm or UGa and everyone else for the women’s title. Instead, the talk is there are 5 true title contenders this year - including LSU.

As stacked as LSUs lineup is - Auburns similarly stacked with former/current pros. Georgia - same. aTm too. Then there’s Okie State and Stanford.

LSUs Cross will also be playing a lot of tournaments throughout the season. Hopefully she stays healthy and the constant travel doesn’t affect her play. Both she and Brace struggled today against Marshall in both singles and doubles. If LSU is going to compete for the natty, they need those two to come through for them.

The women have the 1.2, and 14th rated players

That’s insane to me
