Looking up and at the moon and looks like it’s missing an eyeball or has a hole in its head.

Looks like a calf head on a deers body in that first pic.
Do y'all reckon that might be a 6.5 creedmoor headshot?
Deer are some tough critters. I shot this one a few years ago, I'm guessing his eye got put out fighting. He walked up and started making a rub. When I boiled the skull that whole side was crushed. Broken orbital and skull damage.

It’s amazing sometimes how animals can just move on and live with injuries like that.

CWD- you need to quit putting out corn immediately. As well as 17 counties near you.

Clearly her eye got caught in that high fence

Used to see her and get pictures of a doe on my land that walked/ran on 3 legs. One of her front legs was bent backwards at the knee.
The hoof was really long because it wasn't getting worn down by hitting the ground.
She had numerous little ones over the years but I haven't seen her for a while now.

Good to know that you have some non-discriminatory bucks around.

Got a few pics of a good size buck with a large growth near one of his knees. Guess that was a tumor as well.

Going back through trail cam pics I found this from a few months ago. Looks like it was all swollen and now it looks more like a hole in the new pics.
