If he commits to Oregon without even visiting clearly it's about the money.
Hell Oregon probably preferred meeting him in Atlanta, their biggest cons are being way the hell out of the way and shitty weather.

I find it hilarious that with all of the money Phil Knight has donated to Oregon athletics over the years that they still haven't won a championship in football, men's basketball, or baseball since he graduated from there in 1959.
