Is this guy like the rooney rule guy everyone goes to every year? Seems like he's interviewed at like 20 jobs every year and never goes anywhere. It's really baffling tbh. Is he good or isn't he? Seems a lot of organizations hold him in high regard.

Am I dumb or was he there recently as OC?

I personally don't think he'll ever be a HC - his best days were as Andy's OC after Nagy left. I'm not sure he's even that great of an OC, but he evidently knows how to run Andy's offense to perfection. So it may just be a synergy thing for EB.
I've wanted Nagy gone for years, and am looking forward to what Bienemy might be able to bring back for the Chiefs. They're looking at a complete offensive revamp for 2026, so it's not a bad move if it happens.

His name kinda sounds like "Be the Enemy"

Having a prime Mahomes, Kelce, and Hill helped

When was at the Chiefs he very regularly interviewed for multiple HC jobs every year. Since he left Chiefs, he has kinda fallen quite a bit. I remember you saw his name in interviews very often for HCing opportunities.

I mean, of course, but that doesn't mean you can't be a successful head coach just because you were an OC who benefited from having a trio of studs playing for your offense.
Mike Holmgren was OC with Montana, Rice, Craig, Taylor and Jones.
Mike Shanahan had prime Young, Rice, Waters and Jones.
Both won SBs as head coaches, hired off their OC performances where they had some of the best in the game at their position playing for them.
I wonder if Bienemy, for one reason or another, just isn't interviewing well, and that's turning off GMs and owners.

He can't even hold on to an OC job anymore. Dude was coaching running backs this season
He needs them more than they need him

The Enemy gets a lot of hate on this site but the Chiefs offense has been in decline since he left.

Did Matt Nagy leave?
The messaging on the wall was clear, his contract was up and not renewed nor was it going to be renewed. Thank you for your service, but you’re done as a Chief.

Usually doesn’t work out great when you’re trying to get a job.
