I’ve watched this podcast during the Kiffen hire and during the portal signings, Buddy and Mike aren’t the most informed “insiders” regarding LSU football

Unfortunately a lot of folks knock Buddy, Jimmy Ott, Hanny, and Gordy without appreciating the history. Buddy has been at it since the high point of the 80’s, through the dark times of the 90’s, and beyond to the Golden Era. Not sure how many of you truly understand how bad things were around here between 89-94 and 98-99. We are talking 10 are less home victories between 89-94. Buddy and a few others held 1-2 hour daily broadcasts through those seasons. Hanny, Jimmy, and Gordy broke into the business during those seasons. This is before the internet when “sauces” mattered. They brought humor during times of despair and optimism when LSU reached its lowest point in history.
