Looking for seafood recommendations by the convention center for Sunday evening. Kid friendly.

Peche is pretty obvious choice for that area, although while casual its on the higher end side.

If you're looking for more like hole in the wall fried catfish, I can't think of anything in that area that isn't trash, off the top of my head

Add Seaworthy and Delacroix

Drago's is typical fried no frills stuff. Grand Isle as well. Have had alright meals at Restaurant Rebirth.

It's been a minute, but I have had some good meals there. It's under the radar - better than you would think a restaurant in that location would be. Unfortunately for the poster it is closed on Sundays.

The downtown location was absolutely horrible last time I went. Their service and quality has gown down tremendously. Imagine Burger King employees as wait staff kind of level.

Think I would choose here with those parameters. Has a great view of the river with the ships passing and food was very good on our first trip to the bar (if they have the stone crabs, splurge for that app)

As mentioned, Peche would also work just fine

Peche is your best bet by far.

Yeah. And Peche has fishsticks you can get the kid while the parents enjoy possibly the best seafood restaurant in NOLA

It’s a ride up Magazine, but Cassementos is open on Sundays. Oysters and fried seafood. Cash only.
