Can someone give me a breakdown of what happened with Sam Leavitt? Did LSU / Lane piss him and/or his family off (who cares, if so)?
It seemed like it was a done deal.
Why was Lane in Knoxville?

Leavitt has an agent in his immediate family who wants him to take all his visits. LSU wants Leavitt to commit and stop taking visits.
All the rest of the posts are just rumors and opinions.
LSU wanted Leavitt to think we had another guy waiting in the wings (Williams) to try and pressure a commitment. It backfired.
That sums what I know.

There is not a single person posting on this website that actually knows that would actually post it.
Could be dozens of things ranging from, the staff doesn't want tp spend that $ on someone who won't even play in the spring to Leavitt doesn't really want to play for LSU.

I read something happened that resulted in his momma cursing out CLK in a restaurant, Leavitt’a camp then left the restaurant, and CLK got stuck with a $5,000 tab.

It’s a possibility. I did read that CLK doesn’t even like to spend 5 cents on a grocery bag. But hopefully we didn’t lose out on a QB1 because of it. I still think we will pull in Clark and Longstreet. Unless he tries to go halfsies again with the check.

Leavitt was never going to sign on his visit anyway. He was hell bent on taking the visits to Tennessee and Miami. Either way, I hope this drama ends today or at the latest tomorrow.
