Imagine being a GB fan at the game tonight

Getting tipsy through the 1H, growing ever more cocky as youre drinking and the score moves to 21-3
Maybe dropping a few "we still own you" comments to Bears fans around you who were chirping at you early in the game.
Feeling safe and relieved again after a scare when it was 27-18 with 6 mins left and then chirping at them again.
Then... disaster. Watching helpless for 30 minutes as your worst nightmare unfolds. Getting taunted relentlessly on that long winding 45 minute walk out of Soldier Field to your car by drunk and rowdy Bears fans - your bright yellow ski cap and green Packers jacket suddenly a curse. Your wife/ girlfriend has a generic black coat and you feel like she's intentionally walking a couple steps further away from you than she was on the way in... presumably to escape the taunts.
If youre lucky you have a hotel downtown or somewhere north of CHI.
If youre unlucky youre driving 2 hours to Milwaukee or even 5 hours to Green Bay. Your wife / gf feels for you but also passive aggressively mentions how much the tickets cost and how you get obnoxious when you drink. She angrily shuts off the Packers post game show and falls asleep facing away from you as you head north.
A long sad lonely drive. You stop for gas a little north of Milwaukee (halfway home) and see other aching Packers fans but also some Bears fans eager to be the last to rub salt in your wounds

I swear on my honour I wrote every word.
Ive been to awful Saints road games but nothing that would quite compare to this

Sad, because

when it was 27-18
never happened .

I believe you. It was a good read.

I never travel to see a game for that exact reason.

I know exactly how it feels and thats why I dont pick the bama game to travel down from jersey anymore.

You have to wonder how many times Packers fans rebutted with "Four Super Bowls" to Bears fans as they were heading home from another early playoff exit.

It was par for the course for LaFleur and why no one at our Packer Bar last night got overly confident. It’s happened too many times, as recently as the last time we played the bears a few weeks ago.

I was at the Broncos/Giants game. Obviously it’s not the playoffs and not a rivalry but that’s pretty much how it went.
The increasingly loudmouth giants fans just suddenly dipped at about the 2 min warning.
