Lots of folks think Leavitt is just biding his time with steak dinners until Oregon's season is over and their QB Moore makes up his mind about the draft.
If they lose, and Moore declares, and Leavitt jumps to Oregon, then a lot of dust settles.
If there is truth to the rumors, it could mean we get serious with Deuce from Auburn. Or lure someone else out.

I don't think there's any chance of getting deuce.
He is from louisdale and their mascot is the rebels.
It is so hard to get a top notch recruit out of the state of mississippi.I'm sure he goes to old miss.

I don't think LSU cares about Leavitt anymore. Ultimatum to LSU is an absolute no. He's not an all-world player enough to do that and even if he was, LSU would still tell them no. Especially coming off a questionable injury. If they're interested in Deuce they better got on it now before Ole Miss seriously enters the sweepstakes when Chambliss goes pro.
